HQ-YSB9C surface sizing agent
HQ-YSB9C surface sizing agent is a cationically modified copolymer synthesized from styrene and acrylate monomers. It can organically integrate with starch, conferring upon the starch coating excellent cross-linking strength and hydrophobic properties. It requires no curing period, exhibits good retention on paper, and effectively concentrates its sizing efficiency. During synthesis, a self-developed functional monomer was incorporated into this product, resulting in stable water resistance, prevention of moisture regain in high-strength corrugated paper, maintenance of stable ring crush strength, and enhanced paper fold endurance.
Scope of Application:
Suitable for boxboard/containerboard, corrugated paper, cardboard, and whiteboard paper.
Product Characteristics:
The cationic components in the HQ-YSB9C Surface Sizing Agent are adsorbed by sites activated with aluminum sulfate or cationic polymers within the paper layer, forming a continuous film. This imparts excellent water resistance and ring crush strength to the paper
During the sizing process, it exhibits strong affinity and retention with fibers, as well as good compatibility and synergistic effects with starch, dyes, and other additives
When used in combination with starch for surface sizing, it offers advantages such as low sizing agent consumption, cost-effectiveness, low surface absorption weight, and rapid post-machine curing.The product incorporates self-developed functional monomers, significantly enhancing the burst strength, folding endurance, and ring crush strength of boxboard and high-strength corrugated base paper. It effectively suppresses paper moisture regain and sizing reversal

USE |
1. At the pump outlet of the starch storage tank or at the small elevated tank before the surface sizing press, use a metering pump to continuously and quantitatively add the product. 2. After the starch is gelatinized in the cooking tank, cool it to approximately 65°C, then quantitatively add the product and mix it evenly for later use. |

1. Use 200kg and 1000kg polyethylene plastic packaging drums. The product is best stored in a dry, ventilated, and cool place at temperatures between 5-32℃. Packaging materials are to be recycled. 2. This product is non-toxic and non-flammable. Store and transport it as general goods. In case of leakage, rinse with water. |
