HQ-G6887 surface sizing agent is a weakly cationic sizing agent synthesized from styrene-acrylate copolymer. It organically integrates with starch, imparting excellent cross-linking strength and hydrophobicity to the starch coating.With no curing period required,it achieves 100% retention on paper, ensuring optimal sizing efficiency.This results in stable water resistance that prevents moisture regain in high-strength corrugated paper while maintaining consistent ring crush strength.

PRODUCT FEATURES:
1. The weakly cationic groups in HQ-G6887 surface sizing agent are adsorbed at the hydroxyl sites of fibers activated by aluminum sulfate or cations,forming a continuous film that imparts excellent water resistance to the paper.
2. Exhibits strong affinity and retention with fibers during sizing, while maintaining compatibility and synergistic effects with starch, dyes, and other additives.
3. When combined with starch for surface sizing, it reduces adhesive consumption and costs. Sized paper demonstrates low surface absorbency and rapid post-drying curing. It significantly enhances burst resistance, folding endurance, and ring crush strength of containerboard and high-strength corrugated base paper, effectively suppressing moisture regain and sizing degradation.

1. At the pump outlet of the starch storage tank or small head tank before the surface sizing press, add the product continuously and quantitatively via a metering pump. 2. After starch gelatinization in the cooking tank,cool to around 65°C,then quantitatively add the product and mix uniformly for later use. |
